I'm a bit dissatisfied with the level of customer service provided pertaining to the PS5's. I ended up winning their raffle to purchase a PS5. They told me that I had 24 hours to purchase it. I told them that I was currently TAD to Norfolk, VA and I'd be back on Friday. They said "Sorry we can only hold it for 24 hours"... Seriously??? You guys act like you're there for the service member, but when the service member is deployed or TAD it's just a "sorry we can't help you".

Lack Of Customer Service, this review, pertains to the shoe department on this visit, looking for a particular size, i ask one of the ladies if she could check availability, (she must be a robot computer that knows complete store inventory in her head) immediate answer was no, 1. did not check the storeroom, 2. did not check the computer system for inventory count, 3. did not check if item was on order, 100% lacy and there for a paycheck only. 0% customer service, personnel are in desperate need of training, or replacement, they can be sent to nas jax, to train with there counterparts and learn how to take care of customer, or at least learn how to determine which products may sale by generating a report of lost sales do to not having product that does sales. It is sad, i am a retired Ship Serviceman, and back in the days NEX and Commissary was our shore duty assignment, this lack of incentive/ laciness to do the right thing or your job would not be tolerated, as it would impact our personal evaluation. these employees need to be reminded that if they do not take care of customer and generate sales, they would be out of a job.

The prices are more or less the same as what you will get at walmart. The only difference is that it does not charge with tax. They have a program that compares prices from different places, and they have insurance programs for your purchase that are very good.

No. Only military and their families. You need military ID card or dependent ID card to shop at both commissary and NEX.
