Yes you do it's not that far but there are no picnic tables there any more so have you some chairs

I know there is places to fish. As far as hunting, I'd call their office.

What time does the park open? Are grills allowed (travel grill)? Is it open 4th July?

Ypu can bring your own grill but there are ones located in the park. Nomraly 8am there open. Not sure about in the 4th, the website should tell hours.

No, the horses are for lessons there.

Are there picnic tables or other seating provided? I am disabled and not able to stand for long periods of time nor am I able to sit on the ground. Thank you for your help

Yes they have picnic tables at the park, some are on the beach but theres a hill to get to them.

Yes. I found lots of fossilized shells and a small bone. You need to bring something to sift with.
