On hold for my 2 hours never got a person

They are thieves they overcharge you. My summer bill at my establishment exceeds $1900 a month. I literally told them this does not add up compared to previous years. They blame it on inflation and the war going on in Ukraine.

They hate poor people and get away with their corrupt practices because we're forced to use them. I never had issues with pepco or delmarva, but now I have all the issues with BG&E. They were a nightmare when I worked in homebuilding, and they are an even bigger nightmare as a resident forced to use them. I hope Maryland makes monopolies like this illegal soon, it's beyond disgusting and corrupt.

If power goes out well good luck because it takes them about 30 minutes each time and power goes out in the middle of day about once a week

No. BGE does not take in consideration if there are young children in the home. U will still be required to pay the past due balance

4103965555 energy assistance
Keep in mind that the drop box payments go out of state to get processed and may take longer than 7-10 business days to post to account. You can go to an Americas Cash Express for faster service in person
YES - I would call them and if the lights don't go on in 24 hr, I would contact the County Public Service Commission, the County Executive, and then possibly write my congressman...
Sure
They don't themselves. One can only apply through Energy Assistance or The Fuel Fund.
cause they change their name to "constellation"
U have to get a turn off notice first and then u can request for 2 extensions or request for the maximum time frame for the extensions. Then after that date u have may about to 10 days before ur services will be disconnected
Baltimore has alot of old powerlines and transformers because of the older properties. For the newer properties power lines are ran under ground which helps the services from being affected as much
Is this a question or a statement?
Yes, u can apply for services but u may be asked additional questions and for additional information depending on the circumstances
From November 1 through March 31, BGE will not terminate residential utility service for nonpayment unless it is first certified to the Maryland Public Service Commission that the customer has been notified of the pending termination.
If you don't pay your bill...of course.
That's an energy supplier
Call in and request for a special needs form.
Sorry there are no senior discounts available your very welcome
Your bank first. Then do you have direct deposit for your bills.
Bge.com you can fill out the application online from start to finish or call in.
There isnt one
You need a load study. This will calculate how much gas your house needs and compare it to the service line and meter to make sure it can handle it. Sometimes you need just a meter upgrade sometimes you need a whole new service line and meter.

Have you/him called in for an extension? Since youre not married you can't do anything on his account except pay if you have the account information or are listed on the account. If you cant get an extension or a payment arrangement then you have to pay at least 601 to keep it on
Call and ask for a translator if needed and then ask for an extension or a payment arrangement
They can shut off anytime they want to..if you don't pay your bill then..yes they have every right to shut off the service.. there is so many energy services out here that help with gas and electric that you should look into.. also don't use while you are not home... unplug your toaster oven, coffee maker, microwave, phone chargers that are just left in the outlets, turn on lamps at night when you start eating dinner then turn off when you go to bed use night lights during night time.
No, it's not best to. There's a drop box on the outside of the building
