Donβt ever apply here! The work is too much, the boss be lying that she got a kid and she donβt and then will purposely lie and manipulate her employees. Everything here is just mess. Theyβll have you taking care of crackheads and all types of junkies. Really moral of the story is that this facility is a chaotic, underpaying, and destructive place.

Worst place to put a love one.. My dad is there as I write this.. place is under staffed and old.. ever time I visit him he's lying on side the bed in his depends which is wet and no clothes on.. don't know when or if he's ever had a shower. I go in and bath him and put clothes on him I also change his bed linens. Definitely trying to find a better facility.. ππ

I recently spent 1-years at Anchorage Nursing Facility in Salisbury MD. I can attest to the fact that Anchorage is the top facility in the area. The staff there remain professional, ethical and warm hearted regardless of the circumstances. I have spent over a decade in the medical field in a variety of clinical arenas, this has allowed me to become familiar with the practices in each setting. The long-term care setting can be one of the most difficult and apprehensive to navigate. I arrived at Anchorage after spending time in two other nursing homes. At 37 years old I broke my back along with a variety of other health concerns including MS. Upon arrival I was wheelchair bound not knowing if I would ever walk again. One year later I was able to WALK out of the facility with a new sense of hope. Most people only write reviews when they have a concern they feel that they need heard. Well my intention is to tell you the truth from a patient's perspective. When I arrived I was broken in more ways than one. The dedicated staff at Anchorage not only gave their professional skills but the hope I needed to move forward with my recovery. The staff there is not only knowledgeable for their own sake but to provide quality patient care. The therapy staff is top rate and driven to help their patient's succeed. The professional skills from all aspects of the staff and department heads allow them to succinctly provide care to each and every patient they encounter no matter the difficulty. I can say without a doubt that if I were to need skilled nursing care again I would return to Anchorage or refer a sick family member. Without any reservations I would recommend Anchorage Nursing Facility to anyone needing short or long-term nursing care.
