I have no words, for the way that this place is ran. It is merely just a county jail, without cell doors. Absolutely disgusting. Patients Living in unreasonable conditions, This place should be shut down!!!

This place has roaches, rude and abusive nurses and a all around a horrible facility, honestly the people that work here have never heard of the word or the definition of caring... It's insane that this place is even still open, and I know firsthand because I was in there for 42 days absolutely 100% the worst place I have ever been stuck into by my insurance I wouldn't send my neighbor's rat there..

Let me be very clear. I was hired in one of the most vulnerable and worst times as an inexperienced Nursing Scheduler. While I do have receptionist, IT, and administrative experience, this was my first time working in the health industry. New Management of the Healthcare facility that I worked for was under significant amounts of stress. Between not being able to keep Nursing staff on the roster for the holidays (Christmas and New Year), between the physical building needing repairs such as the elevator constantly breaking down, it was disorganized all over. The nursing Staff did not get along too well with management and vice versa. There was a constant communication breakdown. It was like pulling teeth for me even when I needed assistance or asking questions to management to confirm that I doing certain daily job functions correctly. Honestly, I was learning on the job as I went along, which I honestly expected, but I didn't know until the end, how much they didn't respect me in that role, to begin with. There were times I would ask questions via text or when I needed assistance with important concerns I could not get in contact with management even via phone. I do not feel as though my time was valuable nor was I respected while working in this position. I was not taken seriously as my role appeared to be insignificant to much of management (the DON, HR, and the ED). I do sympathize with them as there was so much they needed to handle on a day-to-day basis. But what I found frustrating was their lack of respectable communication with others. When I got sick with COVID, due to my contract not being updated appropriately, I was without pay for two weeks, nor was able to receive a Short-term disability due to a grievous error that HR had made. HR refused to follow up with me for the second week of me contracting COVID due to negligence. I would call and text and not receive any legit response on how to resolve the time and money that I lost due to COVID until I sent an email directly to management regarding the issue. At that point, I was honestly fed up with the mistreatment and blatant disregard for me and my safety. By the time management felt comfortable to follow-up with me, their audacity to want me to work outside of normal time on the weekends and compensation was honestly my last straw with tolerating their behavior. During the two weeks that I was out due to COVID, I attempted to constantly contact HR regarding this matter, since HR is responsible for issues regarding benefits, health insurance etc. I already had previous concerns with the DON, and was made aware of how rude the DON was and has been to others. I really believed at times the DON was so overwhelmed by everything and everyone, she had come off very rude to others without her really noticing their behavior. As well as not being able to keep up with the constant text and calls they received on a constant basis. There were several occasions Nursing staff would reach out to the DON, and would overlook texts and calls from several people which put a strain on communication at this facility. It's not to say that if I was hired at a better time I would have been able to have been successful. But there was too much going on at that facility alone. For the most part, people there engaged in a lack of accountability, including management. I saw it on both sides: from management and the staff. The workplace culture was honestly trash. To be frank, Nursing homes are going to have some form of negliance. But I will say the most enjoyable part of the job, was actually being able to speak with patients and being of assistance as best I could with the Nursing Staff. I actually do miss the staff there, just not management.

This place should be shut down, it is rundown, in dire need of repairs and a facelift. I've seen pictures of jail cells I'd rather sleep in. The place is not only detrimental to the the health and well being of it's residents, but also the staff. I can't imagine spending an entire day there. I was only there to visit family and it was more than long enough to wonder why the facility even exist. The care is borderline neglectful, sure there are some good staff, but overall it's heartbreaking to see a loved one there.
