Came here for lunch only got shareable a but it tasted fantastic. The gao bun was so amazing and flavorful. Slightly greasy but that’s ok. Also got the pork 🥟 dumpling. They were very fat and juicy. However, they only give you 5, whereas in the past there was up to 7. Really hope they adjusted their prices to reflect 5 instead of 7. Finally, got the boba🧋. You can’t choose your flavor and they add way too much ice but the boba itself was perfect (rare in KC). Would like to come try some entrees next time!

I really liked the vibe of this restaurant. The decor is cute and colorful and reminded me of night market street food vibes. We came as a group of 3 around 6:30pm on a Saturday evening and was seated right away. Our server was attentive and food came out fast. I liked just about everything on the menu. The side tofu was actually my favorite. I didn’t realize it was going to come the way it did (crispy in a sweet sauce) and thought it was a add on in the ramen, but I’m glad it wasn’t because it was really good! The pork belly baos were tasty, not too fatty and the dough was soft and fluffy. The braised pork belly had a lot of flavor to it as well. I liked the pickled veggies that came on the side. Cons: I really wanted to like the mushroom ramen and beef shank noodles, but I felt like there was something missing to it. It didn’t have that rich, umami flavor I was hoping for. My mother, who doesn’t like salty food even found it to be bland as well. I did find the dumpling sauce was a bit too vinegary. I also ordered a small side of the tuna poke and didn’t care too much for it. I def would come back to give it another try though.

I loved and missed the food in Taipei and came here with high expectation, which may make the review biased. The menu didn't notice us the beef noodle was spicy, we were caught by surprise to see the red hot broth which, indeed, was very spicy for us. Overall, I'd say this is the American interpretation of what they claim and it's okay on that term, but very far from what I remembered the beef noodle I had in Taipei.

Really wonderful food! First time here. Came at the recommendation of my daughter (happy birthday!!) and son in law, whose trip to Taiwan had sparked their love of the street cuisine there. Absolutley everything we ordered was gorgeous, perfectly prepared, and just a total treat! Service was fantastic, and the ambiance inside is much more than one would think from looking at the outside. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
