The only thing negative here is unexpected delays. I've had times where I was late for school or work because of unreliability. I would say 95% train is reliable but when its not and it your only option, it becomes a pain.

Yes, but you have to change your bus midroute, and the trip takes about 75 min. The train to Penn Station is usually less then 40 minutes straight thru and then its about a 7 min walk to Port Authority.
