You either write into the help section of the app to change your region or make an appointment for the Lyft office to change your region. After that there is a background check that takes 2 days to 3 weeks. Varies for everyone. And all you need is a car registered in your name and insurance in your name. And your insurance has to be notified that you are driving for rideshare. If you don’t tell them it is considered insurance fraud. As long as you have all that you are all good
