Great place to study or read

The staff were so friendly and the selection of books is extensive. On top of this, the membership gives you free access to services on high-rating apps to new languages, listen to audiobooks and read e-books. Love it!

The Jersey City Library is a wonderful institution and doesn’t get enough love. My family adores visiting and all the staff and friendly and helpful. One of our favorite places in the city ❤️

I love my neighborhood library. I used to come here to study or work. They keep the library very clean and quite. They have great book collections, which I really appreciate.

Both the NJ Room in the 3rd floor and our Information Services department in the 2nd floor have tables/desks that you can use for study purposes.

You should create an account using code on your library card. They will send you an email on a registered email ID. After that you should be able to see and renew books you have borrowed.
Unfortunately, we do not have a study room. Our Info Services, NJ Room and Criolla Departments are generally used by our patrons for studying. I would recommend using the tables at one of the departments instead.
Our Director's name is Terry Hill. You can find his information on our website: jclibrary.org. Hope this helps you.
Unfortunately, we do not have notary service in the public library.
Please click on the link below regarding our printing services https://www.jclibrary.org/wireless-printing The service is free for the first 20 pages, the 20 cents per page after that. Thank you.

Yes, non residents can enter freely and bring their own books. You can even use the WiFi, just ask the staff for the WiFi password.
You could read books in the library, but you can't borrows without a library card
