Updated.... experience a second time got worse.... Cleaning is sub par. I was explained they just vacuum and a quick superficial wash and on to the next client. My wife has severe allergies and within 30 minutes her face was turning red and hard to breathe. Come to find out there was dog hair all over the carpet in the back. We went back and the manager cleaned it out much better and hand wiped Everything down. I just think that's how it should be from the start. Vacuum, wipe all high touch surfaces and wash all the dirt and mud off. Instead they just vacuum and a light wash and that's that. Shouldn't cut corners. Sept 2022--- Read the previous reviews there is a pattern the employees here are the worst!... Stay away from this location! Rude staff, they don't want to help you. You walkin and feel like you are bothering them. I wasn't even greeted. There was an awkward 5 second silence of me looking at 4 employees sitting down. And then one chimes in "what do you need". Wow! Is all I can say. After trying to book a reservation and receiving no help I asked if I should go somewhere else and he said "I think so". This is inexcusable service. I highly recommend going to one of their other locations such as fowler or the airport and even the corporate office. This was my second bad experience at this location. We came back today thinking it was just a one off and thought let's give it a try. Nope it's the staffing there. Our previous experience was from them not cleaning their vehicle after the previous rental. The previous renters had a dog and left hair all over the back of the car. No one had ever vacuumed it and my wife started having an allergic reaction. And as I said that was a one off experience so that's why we tried the location again. Now a 2nd experience shows the employees here just don't care. Go anywhere else!

I recently rented a car from Hertz at the Fort Myers FL - South Tamiami Trail HLE and the service was terrific. Chad, Jerece and Julio were extremely professional, polite knowledgeable, funny etc. I enjoyed doing business with them and I would give them 100 stars if possible. Have a great day guys and keep up the good service.

Worst Service ever. Tried to sell us a Hyundai Cona as our booked ifa-class Car. We paid for a midsize suv, traveling with a toddler. Told us there that there was no others car available and we could try at the Airport but with low chance to get another bigger car. Hyundai Cona ist not IFA, it is a Compact class... We hardly got our luggage in the Car and our toddler Girl was nearly crashed by a suitcase during the Drive to the Airport. Irresponsible. Worst service, not helpful... And we of course gota car in our booked class at the Airport...with mich understanding for us and the situation

What a joke of an establishment. Hertz should be embarrassed to put their name on this business. Booked my car online. Everything went through and was confirmed. Took the 30 minute Uber ride to the location. Gave my name when I walked in. They both looked at each other like “oh s#*t.” They asked me when I booked. I said today. And I said I got a confirmation. They said they couldn’t help me because they had no cars. No call to tell me not to come in. No apology. No offer to help. I should have not worried about saving a few dollars and gone with Enterprise. Don’t go here. They are completely incompetent.
