Our second stop on the trail system and got there right after the office closed but they unlocked and gave us a map. The parking lot was very well maintained. We found some very nice focal points along the trails and the were nice and wide and well maintained also. Our trip was cut short by bad storm moving in unfortunately so we only got a couple hours of riding in. We found a nice Cafe to eat at after just Down the road. If your not from the area be patient driving there as it mostly hills, twist and turns on narrow roads Another great experience in WV

A little something for everyone. Our crew had a great time!

Plenty of parking and good location to ride from. Just sad that so many locations are not available anymore! If everyone would do their part and clean up there would not be a problem!

If you're using Google maps from VA do not let it take you through the coal mining roads, stay on the paved roads! Fantastic trail, coming in from this trailhead is very rocky but once you get in a bit it smoothes out enough to not destroy your tailbone. My dad and I ride 4 wheelers and these were pretty comfortable and fun on them (aside from the first bit). Well mapped, too.

What Bob? Camping or riding the trail system?

We have been on the trails in williamson, nice although no scenic views and brushy. Does Pinnacle Creek have scenic overlooks? We will be on the easy to moderate trails. Thanks

Yes they do. A few were grown up but there are both official overlooks and some spots to pull off and take pictures or just take in the scenery.
