What a beautiful trail in lush forests and passing historic buildings. Would love to come back and explore on a day that is under 3 digit temps.

I like this historic town. It was pretty busy as we were riding the Katy Trail on Memorial Day weekend and there were lots of people out. The trailhead is well maintained and near a couple small museums that are well done. Fun weekend.

Sweet place to pull off i70 to have a picnic lunch. Lots of parking, good Access to the trail. Bathrooms are crude but clean and without the "bathroom' odor. There wasn't any soap so we used hand sanitizer (in abundant supply these days so no biggie).
