The parking lot across the street is dirt but there is a wheelchair ramp down to the beach area for some nice views!

Not much of anything, the half rusted refuse of Geneva steel lies amidst a mostly dirt slightly sanded beach the size of a football field where the waves murmur a few sad inches over dead piles of bone white freshwater muscles. A fire would be nice but none are allowed.

There are a couple different access points to the lake, But I feel like this one is more hidden than the others. I haven't used the rental services because I usually like to go in the off-season when no one is there. The lake can be a little dirty and they had a pretty bad algae bloom summer 2016, but it is a really pretty place to go and take pictures. At least here in the vineyard area they have a mile and a half long running trail, which is paved, right next to the lake.

There are no signs posted saying that they are not. Dogs are allowed in most state parks, so I would imagine that it is allowed.
