Cozy little restaurant located in the heart of Main Street. I came here with my family looking for a brunch spot with outdoor seating. We came across “The Eating Establishment.” The outside dining wasn’t very big, but it was well decorated and shaded with hanging plants and umbrellas. It made the outdoor area very inviting. Our waiter was Alfredo, and he was awesome!! He made our first sit down eating experience in Salt Lake very welcoming. I could tell that Alfredo loves what he does and his smile says it all. This place offers a variety of brunch items, which is what we were looking for at 1 in the afternoon lol. Best of all they also offer cranberry-and-orange mimosas, which we gladly enjoyed. I ordered the homemade biscuits and gravy, with country potatoes. They were actually pretty good being that I’m picky with biscuits and gravy. The family and I look forward to our next trip to Salt Lake City and we will definitely be looking for Alfredo at The Eating Establishment.

Accommodated eight for breakfast at short notice on a Sunday morning. Great choice of gluten free options, including gluten free bread. Waffles and pancakes are huge. Indoor and outdoor seating available in the summer.

Bustling breakfast spot serving the classics. We got straight to a table at 9:30am, but the wait was up to an hour as we left. My bacon, scrambled eggs and country potatoes was good, and the coffee hit the spot.

Just down home delicious comfort food made with fresh ingredients. Everything on the menu is worth trying. I highly recommend the eating establishment. Another plus is they serve breakfast all day.
