This is the cleanest and nicest room I have ever seen in any motels or hotels I have ever been in.The scenery is gorgeous. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Fell in love with this place! Good service and a great room. And they were in my budget. They are only 3+ miles to Middlesboro KY (for those that like a big city). Cumberland Gap is quiet and quaint and it is charming. You can almost hear the grass grow.

Two stars. They have rooms. Be sure and sign up for their "book twice because they lost your reservation" special. Showers were exactly as cold as we'd hoped. They're clearly struggling and redesigning. The problem is that they're not conscious or empathetic to how that affects their customers. They're certain a cold shower is worth $75+ dollars (if I remember correctly). When you book a small block of rooms for 5 high-end customers who are travelling with you for 7 states, something that looks this charming needs to BE this charming. And they're just not there yet.

I frequented the Inn a few times when my girlfriend worked there for a few weeks. The couple who run the end are not the owners. They are simply the managers who live in one of the rooms. I know the owner personally and I honestly feel if he knew how the couple was running the Inn he would not approve. My girlfriend was never given a break. She was Expected to be there within an hour of being called and never had any help. Every one else that I saw working in housekeeping always had a partner but my girlfriend was expected to do the same number of rooms by herself. The stairs and handrails are rusted. There's cobwebs and bed bugs along the walkway of the bottom and top tier. The chandelier that hangs out front is dirty and corroded. The windows to almost all the rooms are streaked and dirty. I've read a lot of reviews where people are praising the low price. To be in a town as historic and scenic as Cumberland Gap and as upscale as the Inn advertises that it is the cost should be no less than $125 per room. That is an estimate of what a room in good condition with clean rooms, Wi-Fi, and all the other amenities would cost in another city. The price is cheap because the Inn is for lack of a better word in very cheap condition.
