Sleep Inn near Sandestin Beach

Sleep inn was a last minute decision, because my family and I wanted to stay an extra night in destin. It serves the purpose having a place to stay at night and breakfast in the morning wasn’t bad, but there are so many different options and nicer places to stay in Destin don’t waste money here. Double beds were small and stiff and the room was small. The sink in our room was very loose and the temp for the shower is backwards. Blue gave hot water and red gave cold water.

Positive: The staff was friendly. Breakfast included waffles, sausage links, eggs, muffins and cereals. Negative: The staff entered our room the day before our departure. There was a gigantic roach in our room and they came to spray and get rid of it. When then bought more spray and sprayed the entire room. Didn't see anything after that. Bathroom area was weird.

The rooms are small but very functional. They have microwave and mini fridge and TV with cable. There is also wifi and you get the pass code when you get your room key. They serve breakfast at 630 am only issue I had was the milk was sour even though it still had one more day a on the expiration date. The place inside looks old but for the price everything is about right. The customer service we did not have a lot of experience to say it's an excellent service that is why I put 3 stars I am not sure on that matter. The hotel is about 15 minutes walking from a beach entrance and if you drive by car the map says its about 2.5 miles but since there is a lot of traffic and a lot of people walking it takes about 15 minutes to get to the beach by car. So about the same time as walking but in car you can take more stuff with you. We noticed people walking their pets on the beaches but this hotel is not pet friendly. There is also a pool but we did not use but from what I noticed it did not seemed bad.

Positive: It serves the purpose for a few nights stay near Destin attractions. Breakfast was great. Negative: Breakfast missed staff to tend when in need of replenishing supplies. Shower water temp hot and boiling hot, could not get cold water. TV did not turn on room 107.
