First time visiting Don Julio’s in Madison. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Madison area. Limited parking kind of place. As soon as we walked in servers were ready to seat us with friendly smiles. We had the Fresh chips with house salsa as soon as we sat down. Ordered a queso for the chips which was ok. Only restaurant in the Nashville area that offers homemade agua de Horchata (yum!). I was with a group and unfortunately only took a pic of my order 🥴. I had the Fajita Arandas which comes with steak, schrimp, chicken, and sides which included salad, rice, beans with sour cream. I just switched shrimp for chorizo. They serve Modelo of the tap and plenty of tequila. This place is definitely worth it and would definitely come back. Great job guys !

I have never left a bad review, this place definitely deserves it. I ordered online and was told the food would be ready at 8:40pm but waited till after 9pm. They were not busy, at all. Fine, no big deal, but then after getting back home, we found out not only was one item missing but three items were - two chicken burritos and a chile renello. Seemed like they were more concerned about closing up for the night than taking care of a customer. The single chille renello’s cheese was not melted. I bet they rushed the cooking because they didn’t even realize they had an online order till after I arrived to pickup. You would think they would deliver the missing items, since they offer delivery but they would not.

We've been going here for the last 8-9 years. This is me and my hubby's spot. If authentic is what you like, this is the place. There are many Mexican restaurants around that claim authenticity but simply aren't. Every time we try some place new (like we do with all restaurants), we find ourselves in regret. There's just no place like Don Julios. It will forever be our place! Oh! And as for pricing? The amount of food portions are worth every single penny! There's enough food left over for 2 or 3 more meals when we go and it's VERY budget friendly.
