Dr. Slater’s personality is a breath of fresh air. It’s evident he cares deeply for all of his patients. As an older patient with a complicated medical history, Dr. Slater has always referred me to the highest level of care outside of his practice. He’s not concerned about being in control or ordering a million tests but finding the best medical provider for my health. I’ve received phone calls from him “just checking to see how I’m feeling”. True compassionate care. Jessica D’alessandro, NP is medically talented and a great listener. She’s helped me when my other specialists couldn’t. The office is always helpful. I feel so fortunate to be Dr. Slater’s patient.

This is mainly about the office staff but when something is so broken that you complain to the dr/np in person, apologies and assurances come that the multiple issues with particular office staff with problems will be addressed only to call for many Rx to be filled to be: 1) hung up on 2) call back to explain the need for 4 meds to be filled only to argue with Shaquilla....why am I arguing? Then she puts me on hold for over 10 mins....to have another person pick up call who has no idea what is going on. So it seems to me no training, no addressing of any problem with Shaquilla has been addressed at all. I've only been to this office twice now and have some medical issues going on. I don't need this stress or anxiety of "if I call, is Shaquilla going to answer the call?" The initial problem with Shaquilla was pretty awful: issue with a signature for my son. I told her that I'm his legal guardian and she said well we need his signature ..can he scribble?

Waited for around 20 min alone in the room for my doctor to come, and she didn’t read the forms I filled out and had no idea why I scheduled the visit
