This rest stop (site code 4234) has been the best rest stop I've been at in the Southeast! The employee Evelyn Germany kept the public areas and bathrooms spotless and it even smelled good, and that's rare! It makes you feel refreshed and there's lots of area to walk your pet, get snacks from the vending machines, and even walk on many safe paths to stretch your legs/wake up/etc. There's even multiple family restrooms aside from the typical ladies' and mens' restrooms which were all available. I will definitely be stopping here again and will remember to say hi to Ms.Evelyn because of her kind and courteous manner! She really exemplifies a respectable charm and mannerisms!

Clean restrooms that seem to get cleaned multiple times a day. Some vending machines available inside as well. Enough lighting to feel safe at night.

Such a clean rest stop! I was very impressed. The maintenance man was standing outside welcoming everyone in, which made me feel safe late at night.

Big rig and RV friendly rest stop. Mid-day appeared to have plenty of room and seemed like a relatively safe location. Vending machines were being restocked while we were there. Looked like plenty of choices. However, this rest area isn’t far from exits with many other amenities. Good stopping point for campers. Area for dog walking and picnics. Facilities were very clean and tidy. Bathrooms had an attendant cleaning them during our short stop. Overall modern appearance. I would feel comfortable stopping at this location if I were traveling alone.

No they still work on it
No they are not. I don't know what the problem is. At least exit 49, Loves travel stop is there.
Truck drivers really appreciate the simplicity of pulling over for a few minutes and be able to get back on the road quickly regardless of lack of water.. every time I pass by it I cannot help but think " my tax dollars at work" ..
