Went to Thai Smile about a week ago. Ordered the Spicy Basil with Tofu. I don't like mushrooms and asked to remove and add Broccoli. Done! Their tofu is done the best in every Thai and Asian restaurant in the Chattanooga area that we've been to and we've been to about 7 or 8 so far. Only 4 stars because the spring rolls are always only so-so ( been coming here since early 2000's) Service was kind, professional, and attentive when we've been there.

Party of 3. I had the Duck Curry with White Rice. The customer service was great! We were seated quickly. The food was excellent. And spicy! But great! I ordered the Spicy American Level 3 and it was no joke! The Curry sauce was so good I wanted to buy it in a bottle! The duck was tender. The veggies were fresh. The rice was nice. Pay attention to the Spicy level folks!

Food and service were mediocre. But what I really don’t appreciate is the 18% gratuity being added to our group of 5 without a heads up. So I ended up tipping on top of it because why would I think to check. Lesson learned. Service was definitely not worth a 30% tip and I think they could be less shady about it. This restaurant needs to get over itself.

Don’t know what Hadyen was talking about. This place was fantastic. Highly recommend the pad soon sen and the musamun curry with chicken. They are a little understaffed but the quality of food easily makes up for that. For those that want enough spice for the flavor but not enough to light you up, I recommend going with a 2 on the spice level.
