Bought Leveluk JRIV hoping that it will produce clean water. Tested the water, Leveluk didn't remove any TDS out of tap water. Same amount of TDS in tap water as in the water that ran through the machine. Distributor clearly explained and proved that her machine produces clean, alkaline, ionized water and also the JRIV description claims that it produces "clean water". 167 of TDS is not considered safe for drinking. I contacted my distributor, she said she will call Enagic to clarify what is wrong with the machine. After sitting on hold for 20 minutes they told her that JRIV needs a prefiltration system to reduce TDS, which on Amazon would range from 450 to 1000 dollars. Our distributor has a K8 machine and her filter (a different filter that is NOT sold for Leveluk JRIV) does filter out TDS down to about 45 TDS. We already paid 3300 and plus another 500 dollars for filtering system is not something I can afford to just have a clean alkaline water. Sent back the machine, received email that we only getting refunded 2780 dollars. Emailed the rep and asked why not full refund? He sent us a chart where JRIV's cancellation fee is 500 dollars, is a ridiculous amount of money to pay for nothing when for me 500 dollars are hard earned. From the time we decided to purchase JRIV there was no intention for a return or cancellation, the reason we returned was that this JRIV does not produce clean water without prefiltration system which was not mentioned anywhere and because JRIV description falsely claims that it does produce clean water we would like to receive a full refund. "A full refund minus shipping fees will be granted only if a product is returned and received by Enagic USA Inc. ("Company")** unused within seven (7) days of receipt*" - return policy. Only seven days allowed for full refund including shipping to and from recipient, when it took more than 7 days to receive Leveluk JRIV. Based on this return policy statement it is just impossible to get a full refund.
