This place is amazing! My 7 y/o and 3 y/o had a couple of private lessons with Mike Matteo, Grace, and Chris at the South Philly location. After a year of swim lessons at another facility and a summer of lots of camp swim my 7 y/o wasn’t yet able to swim a full lap. After a couple of sessions with the Fitness Alive coaches she can backstroke, freestyle, and breaststroke the length of the pool. They really know their stuff and were able to help her organize her skills for big overall improvement. My 3 y/o had only done mommy and me classes before but was entirely at ease with Grace and Chris, and also picked up a lot of skills. We’re so impressed with how much they learned in just a few visits and can’t wait to return.

I called this facility for new swim lessons and the entire staff knows ABSOLUTELY nothing about anything - they surely do not act as if they are inviting or want new members - I called three weeks ago and spoke with someone who was not friendly AT ALL and every question that I asked he answered with “You have to sign up online and someone will get back to you” 3 weeks later I call today to check on the inquiry and not only is this person unhelpful but he directs me to the email and says that the manager should get back to me within two weeks at least - I could have learned how to swim by now waiting on this incompetent group
