The facility is clean and nicely appointed, but not well-run or a good value for the money. In the short time our mom was there (almost two years ), they have had three executive directors. With the exception of Allie at the front desk, Westbrook is not a caring supportive community . Our loved one was in independent living, but the director did not tolerate us advocating for our parent who was starting to need additional support. No care or concern shown . They are corporately owned and are more concerned with their image than their residents. They operate with minimal overworked staff, and offer minimal services while raising rates. Food was awful, and served in to-go containers (as they can’t keep dining room staff. ). The facility was not a good fit for our family and we don’t recommend it. In response to Westbrook’s reply to my review: at no time did we ever receive a call or letter suggesting we move my mom from independent to assisted living. There was no personalized concern for her . We only ever received generic non personal letters from the corporate office regarding policy changes.

Westbrook Senior Living took excellent care of our mom. She experienced independent living, assisted living and memory care during her stay. At every level of care she was shown respect and treated extremely well. The amount of care she received was personalized to meet her physical and mental health needs. Our sincerest gratitude to the staff- from the aides thru the department directors - for the care they delivered.
