I think most of these reviews are for the delivery experience and not the experience at the post office location. The experience at the location is excellent, the ladies are so helpful and kind! Really enjoy going to this location, the wait is usually less than 5 min as well

Had a certified letter scheduled for deliver for 8/18/20. his was verified by Post office website and the woman who answered the phone at the post office. According to tracking, I should have received by 3:15. NEVER ARRIVED! At 4:30 spoke with woman at Roanoke Post office, she promised top call me back today. It is now after 6PM and guess what. SHE LIED. Did not call back. I took a day off to wait for this package and now the Post Office tracking says package available for pick up, to bad they close at 5PM. So incompetent driver and inside has NO follow through. We need to stop subsidizing the POST Office.

This post office is horrible. It is always busy because the carriers are not doing their job and making deliveries. They refuse to bring the packages to my door when the sender is paying extra money to make ensure it gets delivered to MY DOOR. The workers inside the post office take their precious time because they are probably overworked but if YOU CHOOSE to stay at a job that you know overworks you DO THE JOB RIGHT. Move with a sense of urgency; you are being paid to be at the post office. I don’t want to pay you to sit there with you all day. Had the deliveries just been made as they are supposed too, there would be no reason for me to even visit this unprofessional business. This place is a nightmare!!!!!!!!! Christina the postmaster is HORRIBLE. No one should people have to go through the things this SMALL town post office puts their community through & she has tainted the entire office. She needs to be retrained along with her minions because this place needs REVAMPING IMMEDIATELY
