Son was being assaulted walking to to the store MID DAY and police took 40 minutes to even show up. And then didn't do anything. Apartment complex im at had MULTIPLE calls to 911 in reference to fights, shots fired, stolen cars found here with camera footage, license plates, apt #s' , and still, show up literally swear to God 2-3 HOURS or LATER! I PREY to GOD. I never get shot, stabbed ,because I will be a dead man before they show up! AND, they will NEVER find the perpetrators! Never EVER!! They don't gaf!

Hope things work out for you. Life is tough but so are you. But the requirement to have a valid driver's license and insurance is not negotiable. It serves as protection for all of us on the road. If you had hit someone, without insurance, you'd be in really big financial and legal trouble. Get someone to take you to work until you can get back on your feet. Your child and you will be safer that way.
