A well-known membership library founded by Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the United States, and the origin of the American public library. Twenty-nine of the fifty-odd of the founding fathers were members of the library. In the 19th century, it was once active as a public library in Philadelphia, but it relaunched as an original research library and still functions as a collection library for Americana, a rare book collection published in the Americas. There is. A huge dry plate photo original is also preserved in the collection, so the reproduced photos are on display, and I remember being overwhelmed by the more powerful photographs than modern photographs. Since a fellow system has been established for use as a researcher, it is a prerequisite to investigate, inquire, and use it in advance.

Interesting curiosities in this place, behind a mask

The library has many interesting paintings, portraits, and old books that were made my Benjamin Franklin and other famous writers in the 18th century. It was very quiet and peaceful which I liked. The employees were nice and helpful. The library is a library and an exhibit which was a surprise to me since I love historical exhibits. The exhibit is small but full of historical Philadelphia books and arts. I would recommend anyone to go there to visit, but the employees want your proof of vaccination.
