transferred my family member here from another facility. I wish he had gone straight to Lakewood from the hospital instead of initially starting rehab somewhere else. Unfortunately, we as a family were pretty uninformed about this process and didn't put enough research in to where we were sending dad. He has done SO much better here. The staff are wonderful, you can tell the nurses here take there jobs seriously. The therapists are amazing. My dad has really enjoyed joking around with them. They kept him motivated. He ended up needing about 2.5 more weeks of rehab and is now back home doing well. I don't think he would've gone home had we stayed at the other place. Do your research! Thank you Lakewood!

I came here after a knee replacement. My stay was short and to-the-point. I got the daily therapy I was looking for. The staff were extremely kind- they helped me get dressed, get to the restroom, etc, until I was able to do that myself. The building is older, but clean. I have no complaints about the food. There was a good number of friendly people in the rehab program while I was there, which was nice as well. My family was able to visit and spend the afternoon with me after my therapy. I would've never made it on my own at home, and it only took a week for me to get past the initial pain management and progress enough to be able to return to my apartment.

They are treating my grandmother wonderfully! She was at another facility and we had her moved here. They have her wound infection under control that started at the other facility and have grandma walking and doing better. It's so clean and grandma says she loves the food. Im so thankful we moved her to a place that truly cares for her!

QUALITY care. My mom came here for rehab and it was a very nice experience from beginning to end. The staff were very welcoming, everybody is so kind and helpful. She started her therapy here right away. The nurses are SO nice, you can tell they really like what they do. It was reassuring to see their bond with some of the other patients, it made me know I picked the right facility. I knew I could go home in the evenings and not worry about my mom receiving good care without me having to watch over everyone's shoulder like I have had to do at other rehabs.
