The best farm outside of Chicago! I’m hesitant to leave a great review in case more people discover it and it’ll become crowded - for now it’s a gem with tons of activities and a super reasonably priced restaurant. Highly recommended!

So far Lambs Farm for our family is a summer must! It’s $5 a person which includes entrance, carousel ride, and mini golfing. You can buy hay to feed the animals for 1 or 2 dollars. Kids under 2 are free! There are also popsicles for a $1 on those very hot summer day. It’s very interactive and all the animals come up for you to feed them. They have several slide installations and a park. You bring your own food and have a picnic or buy some food at their restaurant. There is also a pet shop and thrift store. You can easily spend the day here and everyone is so friendly. Another reason that I support Lambs Farm is that they employ and are equal opportunity for people with disabilities!

We had a fantastic time. My 2.5 year old absolutely loved feeding and petting the animals! There are so many animals; lots of goats, cows, horses, pigs, a camel, a turtle, different types of birds, etc. we spent about an hour looking at animals and could have spent more time if we hadn’t needed to stop to feed ourselves. We had a great lunch at the cafe, bought cookies and preserves at the store (both at a great price and delicious), played on the playground equipment, and ended our time petting cats and puppies at the pet shop. All around a really great family day!

The entrance fee to our Farmyard is $5. Additional costs for the mini train ride, carousel and hay feed bags. Hope to see you soon!
Yes you can. They have a huge picnic area as well.
No
I would call and ask. There's nothing on the website that I can see about living there.
Lambs Farm is open in the rain. Lambs Farm refers to our entire campus, so our businesses like the Magnolia Cafe & Bakery, Dogwood Garden & Pet Center, Cedar Chest Thrift Shop, and Sugar Maple Country Store can still be enjoyed in the rain and are open year round (check website for hours of operation as they do change seasonally.) The Farmyard, where all the the animals live, is all outside. During certain weather events the Farmyard must close early, which is always posted the day of on Lambs Farm's Facebook page. Guests are always encouraged to be mindful of the weather when visiting the Farmyard. The Farmyard is only open April-October to avoid the winter weather.
No they dont have those goats.
Yes, they're
They do not pick up donations.
Call and ask
We've been a bunch of times, usually only spend about half an hour there.
You need to call them. I'm Sure nobody is going to know here. Sorry
Check their website.
Yes
Not sure iif it's the thrift or bakery? The one that sells candy & popcorn etc.
Call them and ask I'm sure it's quite a bit of money.
I work at lambs. I use to work in the farm yard, but I've changed positions at lambs. We're a nonprofit, so everything is as cheap as possible, while still having enough to take care of our facilities and animals. If you only want to visit the farm yard, it should be $5 per person, but if your group wants to go on the mini train or carousel or mini golf unlimited times for the day, its 12 for kids and 8 for adults and it's called the day pass. Children must have a parent for the train. And if you go on groupon, you can get these day passes for a greatly reduced price.
