Apparently being a disabled veteran is automatically a disqualification for 2 years this agency lead our family around I'm circles asking for paperwork from Veterans Affairs and then denying my case after evidence is submitted. This agency handles their funds very poorly if Veterans who have given everything for this country can't even get help from a government funded State agency

The two security guards in front are extremely rude and unprofessional. They talk about clients in front of them to other employees. The employees themself were okay, answered questions very vaguely with no real answer. They said they couldn’t even see anything pertaining to my case which is absurd. Why even be open if cases can’t even be searched. At the end I was given my receipt but no additional information.

Hello Marie- You can report the provider to DCFS. The phone number is 1-800-25-ABUSE or 1-800-252-2873. You can also report online - https://www2.illinois.gov/dcfs/safekids/reporting/Pages/index.aspx If you report online, odds are you will receive a phone call from the person investigating the issue.

You will need to call the State of Illinois Comptroller at (217) 557-0930 to set up direct deposit.
Unfortunately, the State of Illinois defines all CCAP providers as independent contractors, and will not deduct taxes from CCAP payments.

Can I come to the 87th street office and pick up a application so I can be a childcare provider but my grandkids
The amount of money a parent needs to pay for their portion of child care (copayment), is based on a parent’s income. Here is a link to the current copayment chart. http://www.dhs.state.il.us/onenetlibrary/12/documents/Forms/IL444-3455B.pdf The State does not cover fees some providers charge, such as: the difference between the State rate and the provider’s rate, registration fees, and field trip fees.
Closed Wednesday and Friday Thursday is their late day they stay open til 7pm.
