Foundation Baptist Church is a small but awesome body of believers dedicated to the word of God. The people are friendly and welcoming, and the teaching is sound. The basic membership statement of faith is the BFM2k, but the teaching standard is the 2nd London Baptist Confession (1689). This church is dedicated to sound doctrine, but also emphasizes growth in personal holiness, love for the people of God, and outreach and evangelism in the community. There is devotion to the inerrancy, infallibility, and sufficiency of Scripture. I feel like this is, sadly in our time, a unique church. My family visited a few years ago, fell in love with the brothers and sisters there, and joined. If you are Reformed and Baptist, or simply looking for a church that is devoted to living out the word of God and taking it seriously, I highly recommend Foundation Baptist Church. You will be welcomed and find many opportunities to serve the Lord, the church, and those who need the gospel around us. Sunday school starts at 9:45am on Sunday morning, followed by worship at 10:45. Wednesday evening classes and activities begin at 6:30pm, and there are multiple men's and women's small groups that meet on other days of the week.

If you're looking at Google reviews to pick a church, you're probably doing it wrong. Having said that, I'll give you the lowdown anyway. This church is reformed (1689 Confession as teaching distinctives), passionate about theology and passionate about application of theology. This church is serious about its role in the life of members and about the responsibilities of members. Every church is made up of imperfect people and thus cannot be perfect, but if you want a look at what a church should be according to the Word of God, this is a whole lot closer than most.

There are baptisms done there for people who have not only declared their obedience to Jesus but also demonstrate the fruit of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Those who place their faith in the atoning work of Christ on the cross are eligible to be baptized by immersion. Soli Deo Gloria
