City of lynnwood really needs to do a better job serving there community . The ride along I did and the passion I once had have changed on how the police department issues red light ticket, in this panademic where we all are struggling to put food on our family table and they are flashing those camera tickets left and right for something so small . In law enforcement there is discretion in every situation and I understand you guys make split decisions but please have some discretion when to issue the red light ticket for something so small like the other review mention here for black ice, please get ride of those red light camera . It’s no way of serving the community, we are supposed help bring community together and teach one another on what we did wrong . Although I paid my fine which I don’t have issue with but I just feel , it isn’t right . . Thank you.

I got a red light ticket for sliding on black ice in the middle of the night. Not only did I have to pay the fine in full, but the judge neglected to mention the fact that I could defer the fine. He let me pay the full fine that day, only to get a letter in the mail stating that I could have deferred it. Thanks a lot, “judge”.

149 dollar fine for what? I didn't get a ticket I got no notification that I HAD A FINE TO BEGIN WITH. I haven't lived in the area for over a YEAR.
