Great place to learn about petroglyphs. Not a ton, and a bit hard to see, but most have been left where they were carved which is interesting to see. Short walking trail with shaded seating. Good guide to the plants and fauna of AZ. Worth a short stop and the $9 entry free. Closes mid afternoon.

Beautiful place to visit. Great walking trails. Very pretty to walk along the river and pass by the pond. Kids will love the play ground.

This was a nice little museum. I don’t think I would want to pay $9/person to see it, but we got in free so I can’t complain. It had a small indoor museum, and then a 1/2 mile outdoor trail. It is probably really cool for adults or older kids that are really into petroglyphs and this kind of history. A lot of the petroglyphs were high up and really hard to see, and there wasn’t much going on otherwise. We took our two year old, and he enjoyed running around the trail. They may have other activities going on at other times, but it was pretty quiet today. Overall, a little boring and I’m definitely glad it was free for us, but still a decent place if you want to walk around and look at a little bit of nature.
