Around 6 years of banking with them and they won’t even take a single overdraft fee off and I got my first one in September. Won’t be banking with them further, there are better more forgiving places to put money. Updated review: I was contacted and made aware they removed the overdraft fee. It’s a shame I was initially given such a hard time over this one time issue but they eventually made it right.

Worst credit union in Texas. Ran primarily by judgmental staff with a sour attitude toward their younger guests and that is consistent across all locations. Collections absolutely will not work with you any time you need help. You could have 100% perfect payment history for 3+ years and they will not let you skip ONE payment. Greedy. I was not working for several months during the pandemic shutdown and they would not let me skip my auto loan payment, not even a single months payment. Not soon after, I lost my car to a car accident only a few months before completing my 5 year loan that I had 100% perfect payment history and they reported my last month as "unpaid" to the credit bureaus. I also paid for their GAP insurance and was denied claiming it being left to pay the remaining balance of my loan after the insurance payout. A scam. This being my first loan and only line of credit they have left me ruined not to mention livid. I will be disputing this with Experian and Equifax and will close my checking account immediately. Having a loan here was the worst mistake of my life. Do yourself a favor and work with a credit union who will actually look out for you.

It took two weeks to get the loan officer to respond and by that time the boat I wanted was sold. Keep looking, these people don’t care to help you. Loan officer : Steven Clynes. They were difficult to communicate with and the receptionist was rude. SFCU was a much better experience.
