Absolutely and positively do not stay here. The single worst Marriott I have ever stayed in. Pool was closed for “Inspection “, room did not have any soap in it. Rust areas in the bath tub, my children had to only shower. Light out in the bathroom, stain AND dirt on the bed the cover lit. Everything smelled; carpet, beds, bathroom. Toilet seat was worn down and should have been replaced a decade ago. Carpet felt like it was wet on our bare feet and had no padding. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Marriott should be ashamed to have their name tied to this dump.

Absolutely do not recommend staying at this location. Paid for a larger room on two stays over a long weekend while traveling to and from my destination. The first night they put me in an ADA room that I didn't need or request. Every single tile on the bathroom floor was loose and coming up. The grout was destroyed. My wife was worried it was going to be a tripping hazard for her. We didn't get the sofabed we were supposed to get with the larger room we reserved and paid for. Checking in the second night was a disaster. The attendant at the front desk was rude and unprofessional to say the least. Customers were waiting to check in and she was busy texting on her phone. Didn't even acknowledge the customers standing in front her until she was done with her conversation. When I requested to speak to a manager so I could discuss the fact that I didn't get the room I was supposed to two days prior I was told the manager wasn't there. I asked if I could have the managers phone number so I could call next week and was told she wouldn't give me the phone number. Not wanting to spend another night in an unsafe room I requested to cancel my reservation and was told that she wouldn't cancel it because I didn't like the rooms available. I asked her what her name was and she refused to provide that as well. There was no sign at the desk showing who the manager on duty was or who the attendant was. Service like this is not why I am a loyal Marriot Customer in a top tier loyalty status. Do better Marriot.

The hotel was really nice. I checked in, in the evening. The attendant let me know that there would be a hot breakfast and complimentary self serve Starbucks coffee in the morning. When I woke up and headed down to the lobby the next day there was one muffin on the counter. Another guest that was staying there said that the person who serves breakfast hadn't been there for several days, I asked the front desk attendant and she confirmed the person who manages breakfast was out. It was weird for the evening front desk person to tell me there would be hot breakfast served if he knew it was likely that there wouldn't be. My bank statement listed an amount that was about 20$ more than what the attendant told me was being charged. When I went to ask about the increased amount in the morning when I noticed the charge the person at the front desk said that there would be a holding fee for incidentals that would be reimbursed in a couple of days and asked me if I was aware of a 10$ fee for parking which I've never payed for at a hotel like this in the past. I told her that I wasn't aware and that was never communicated to me. Those additional charges should have been explained prior to charging my card. There was definitely a lack of transparency in billing which made me uncomfortable.

Service was excellent, specially the breakfast. Angela made a yummy omelette and was very patient with a family with children like us. I have to say, she was alone without help in spring break week. She was dealing with cooking while taking orders. Same with the receptionist last night, she had to put us an extra bed for us and leave the reception unattended. I would encourage management to get help on busy weeks to offer a better customer service.
