Spent a September 3 day weekend here with our troop. The camp site was large enough to hold 50 persons, very dusty. There is a walking and bike path near our the camp site. The parking lot was very large to hold all the vehicles of our group and still had plenty of room to hold a bike rodeo and toss around a football or kick around a soccer ball. The bathrooms were ok. There is no shower or soap, so bring your own I suggest liquid soap; place also needs something like hooks on the walls to hang a towel or clothes.

The group campsite was nice. The bathrooms are old and gross.

Our visit here today was great, the location has made some wonderful changes to make the place so much more family friendly plus they have a grill for each area and it was also great because the water was literally 30ft away. While here we meet one of the staff members his name is Rich he was doing an amazing job keeping the area nice and clean and orderly which we greatly appreciated. Overall everything was excellent and it only cost us $10 to enter for a day pass, a lot of great family fun we were able to have Thank you for make my Father's Day outing perfect!

Yes. Or at least there are no signs prohibiting it that I saw. My son and I used our metal detector while there on 7/5/21 and there were no issues.
