Tours are by appointment. It was a super hot day when we came so we didn't get to go up to the third floor. Nice views and interesting history.

Didn't go to the lodge I took a hike on the radiant trail. A really nice hike happened to be a bit muddy being just after the rain but at least it was mostly in the shade.

There's not a whole lot to do in Sedalia, so make sure you visit this sensationally preserved historic home. Only $4 for a tour to help Missouri State Parks stay beautiful. Emma was a great tour guide. Fun, informative, worth it. (Also, pretty sure Mr. Bothwell was actually Bruce Wayne.)

Bothwell Lodge is well worth a stop, and the tour was great fun. The lodge has an entertaining story, lots of history, amazing Craftsman style architectural details, and is chock full of period correct furniture. The tour gives a great perspective on the Bothwell family and the grounds of the park beyond the lodge are lovely and well-kept.

10 am to 4 pm but last tour starts at 3 pm. These are the hours until September 14. Sunday hours are 11 am to 4 pm
Yeah, outside. And it is a lovely spot for dogs, all the trails....oh the smells they must encounter. It's nice to bring doggie bags, pick up where other hikers walk, ya know

Took us just over an hour. We watched a movie, then took the tour. We asked a lit of questions and our guide was happy about that. They said most just walk through and nothing. So, I guess it's how interested you are.
