Movies are great. This review is specifically about my most recent trip to AMC Eastchase. I purchased tickets at the exterior ticket counter and had just inserted my card when suddenly the person working the register stopped the transaction. With zero explanation, he restarted the transaction all over from the beginning. The only explanation he gave when pressed was something about running it as cash by accident. I confirmed my card hadn't been double charged through my banking app so I didn't press too hard. Less than 4 hours later I was notified by my bank of a fraudulent charge on my account for over $900. The card was in my possession the whole time and I didn't see obvious skimmers on the machine, but they can be easy to miss. Just a warning to others purchasing tickets here - I've had this card for years without any fraud and no other recent purchases so I suspect this location.

BEWARE: Broken A/C in theater room #9 during triple digit temps!!! On June 23rd at 5pm, my sister & I saw Elvis at this AMC. It ended up being a very uncomfortable experience for not only us, but a handful of other people who were in the same theater room. It was HOT & HUMID. So much so that as soon as I walked in, I noticed it was kind of hard to breathe. During the movie, I was sweating so much thru my clothes, my glasses kept fogging & I started to feel faint by the end of it. When the movie was over, we & other people immediately began asking if we all were feeling hot. Everyone stated how uncomfortable it was the entire time. I had a hard time enjoying the movie due to feeling as though I was in a sauna. Afterward, I went to customer service to make a complaint. The young man & woman here apologized, stating the A/C was broken. I was appalled that they didn't inform us beforehand, or even shut down that theater room (being that outside the temp is in the triple digits). I asked how I could make a formal complaint, & was given a corporate number to call. When I got into my car to call, the recorded line stated they weren't taking calls & to email instead. I went back inside to see if I could talk to a manager. She ended up being at the desk the whole time, just not stepping in to address my issue the 1st time (I wasn't the only customer to complain). At that point the manager stated she was sorry, but if they got someone to fix the A/C for that room, all the A/C units for the entire theater would need to be serviced & for that they needed money. I was still upset that they didn't inform us beforehand, putting their need for money (not a customer's problem) above a customer's health. I feel that people should know beforehand, not after. At the end, she did give me 2x free passes for a movie (reason for the 2nd star). I won't be returning. There wasn't any urgency to our concerns or well being. The theater itself could be updated, the seats felt older & a bit tight compared to other locations. Some seats looked torn, & the lobby wasn't great on looks, unclean. For the price, this theater is just not up to the same standards as other theaters, even other AMC locations.

Haven't been to the theater in over 2 years. Had a great time! Everything was clean and the smell of freshly popped popcorn filled the air. If you too are retired, give the AMC a try. Memories are waiting for you.

It was gross, the seats in disrepair, and the bathrooms were bad too. Every step of the bathroom floor was sticky. The soap dispenser didn't work. The photos I took were only of my row in one theater. I can only imagine what the rest look like. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I also thought over $12 for a Monday night movie was a bit high. The ticket kiosks outside weren't working. The theater really reflects the surrounding area. I will avoid going back if I can.

Joy, Im sure if you talk to the corporate office. They will explain why or why not they dont open at 10 or 11am. Its a large company might be something they want to try. Good luck
They all are its wonderful
Well, let's see. The equation is: 3 * 14 = PG - 13 To solve: 42 = PG - 13 42 + 13 = PG - 13 + 13 55 = PG PG = 55 So, in conclusion, if a parent who is 55 years old guides the three hopeful 14 year olds to watch the movie, then it is Probably Good, which is what PG stands for. Thank you for asking. As we know, 42 is the meaning of life, so this question is of unutterable import.
It depends what passes you use. Readmit guest passes for any movie. You can’t use green or red passes for Disney movies. You can usually only use yellow and black tickets the week after releases

Sometimes the theaters don't put new movie showtimes until late Wed or Thursday...I think because they may get their movies between Mon-Wed for that week. Leaving them only a day or so to schedule. A good day to start looking is Thursday's. I've never had a problem. But also this is usually only for new movies. Older movies usually stay up through the week until they change it to fit in the new movies.
