As a piercing novice, I can't recommend Ethereal (the piercer) enough. I had never had a piercing before besides two on my lobes at 10 years old, and at 22 was looking to get a helix piercing for a fun change. When I called to make another appointment for a second helix piercing after experiencing the first one (an impulsive decision, RIGHT after I had just finished getting the first one and had left the parlor) she volunteered to come out of her home, drive back in the rain, and pierce me again THAT DAY, immediately. I was shocked. I did a lot of research about things to look for in a piercing place since they are literally inflicting a controlled wound upon you and such a thing should be thought about beforehand. Ethereal got me scheduled in with little wait time (twice!), had clean facilities and practices, told me about aftercare and good products after two relatively pain free piercings. She even gave me her number if I had any questions or needed help. Needless to say I will go to her for all future piercings!
