Thankfully you have good support over chat. In general it isn't easy for a consumer to navigate your website or order process. It's probably easier for a designer.

Due to an error a cabinetry maker made during our recent renovation, I was stuck with a dining space issue that extended to the eat-in space. After extensive Googling, I couldn't find sufficient information on the practicality of a solution I devised. I found a product on Lightology that appeared that it might meet my needs, but I wasn't convinced. Still unsure, I started a chat and Danielle entered the conversation. Customer service has been in decline for a number of years, but Covid, and the shortage of employees along with manufacturing and distribution issues, has taken it to an all-time low. Over the course of our ill-timed renovation, I've learned through experience not to expect too much. That's why it was such a pleasant surprise when I was able to connect with someone who clearly takes pride in her job. Danielle cheerfully participated in a longer than average chat with me about my unusual situation. She was knowledgeable about the products she sells, BUT she also took the time to read the product sheets on the fixtures I had purchased from another company to see if they would work with the item Lightology sells. Then, she placed me on hold while she volunatrily reached out to their warehouse to see if we could successfully marry the wiring from the two systems. Once she received an affirmative, she realized the products they sell aren't something that can be recessed (which I want). I was already impressed with Danielle's assistance and figured that was the end of the chat. Instead, Danielle confirmed my email and said she would be reaching out to two separate vendors to see if they had products that would meet my needs and promised to be in touch withing 25 hours. Honestly, I'm blown away. To customers considering Lightology: If even half their staff is this good, you will get amazing service. To the executives at Lightology: Someone give this woman a raise and make her your Customer Service Trainer. -A Surprised and Thankful Customer
