We had the roast beef dinner family style. Everything was delicious. You can get re-fills on everything but the meat. The roast beef is so tender and moist. We love the coleslaw. Actually we loved everything they offered. We try to go at least once every couple months. When we get really hungry for a great home cooked meal. If you leave hungry it is your own fault.

Family style dinner with plenty of food and they would bring more if you want it. Dessert was delicious also. Highly recommend.

Just had Mother's Day brunch. Food was excellent, wine was wonderful and put was homemade. We were here in 2021 and because of COVID the quality of the food was diminished. They have now been able to regain their former quality of food. I give them two thumbs up.

On our visit to Amana Villages, we stopped by this restaurant and were not disappointed. We asked the waitress what her favorite dish was and she said the Jager Schnitzel. That's what I got. It was amazing and the pork was so juicy! All the other foods looked so good and the service was great. The place was clean and showed the 1800s setting really well. Highly recommended.

I would suggest that you do but, it's not necessary. If you don't have reservations you might have to wait . I usually have a reservation so that I don't have to wait
Yes the sign on the table yesterday said to book reservation
Our cottage cheese is specially made for us by Anderson Erickson and is not available anywhere else in Iowa. It is 4% vs the 2% or lower you would typically find in grocery stores. We just add chives. We are in the planning stages for an 80th Anniversary Cookbook in 2020. Watch for details then.
Yes, we will be open regular hours on Sunday, December 26th - 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Main dish portions are smaller, prices are higher. Good service and food quality.
Masks are required for entry and bvb when not eating There are spaces appropriate to safe distancing in the dining area, meaning not every table is used. Tables etc are sanitized after use. Paper menus are also placemats this was my experience and observation. Folks were very warm and welcoming as is their customary hospitality! Service was very good and gracious
Not able to help with brunch hours as much but I would say about $18-$35 per adult depending on what you get. Hope this helps! 🙂
No, we are closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The Thanksgiving meal is only on Thursday.
There is still a Blue Room. The room that was yellow is currently called the Amana Room.

We were part of a big group that they had us downstairs. I am not sure if there was an extra charge tho. Great food
I happen to be roommates with someone whom is also an employee of the Ox Yoke inn, the sauerkraut is from a can, they heat it up, a,ad add a seasoning to it, he's u sure of the original company, but it's a black and orange label.
