Theyre the best. Travel all the way from the Bronx here because they're just so kind, thorough, and patient.

As far as staff goes, it's dependable place to take your pet......However, my problem is with the set up! I pay monthly insurance for my dog's insurance, but it virtually covers NOTHING, in regards to shots, medicine....etc!! Not 24hrs, Dog was sick, and they told me to check him into a Hospital! Very expensive 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

The vets, techs and staff members were caring and helpful. They all took great care of my dog Billie. I won't hesitate to go back if needed.

How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Oct 10, 2020
Banfield Pet Hospital | Oct 10, 2020

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Oct 10, 2020
Banfield Pet Hospital | Oct 10, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).

My dog is going in for a dental appointment in the morning. He's getting anesthesia. When should I stop feeding him and giving him water?

Nicole Manning | Oct 11, 2019
Michael Fischbein | Oct 11, 2019

I would refer to what the vet advised but to be safe I would remove food and water at bed time and not allow the dog to eat or drink before the appointment. Best thing to do is contact the vet first thing in the morning.
