Par 5 has a long way to go when serving handicapped guests. The main lobby is not accessible to wheelchairs as there is a step. The upper entrance which is handicap accessible is full of golf carts in front of it and has no automatic door opener. My Mom felt like she was going through an obstacle course just to get to the car. I understand this is a golf resort but if you are going to use it as a wedding venue (which is why we were there) the young able bodied golfers could walk a little farther and be more considerate of those not as able bodied as themselves! They need an area to park their carts away from that door. The only handicapped room had a king size bed. Most handicapped individuals need assistance hence travel with someone else. That person in not always a spouse or someone who want to sleep in the same bed! A room with 2 full size or 2 queens would be preferred. So we ended up in a regular room with no bars for assistance in the bathroom with a lower toilet. This was very hard for my Mom to use and very difficult for me to help her up and down to use the bathroom. The wedding ceremony took place outside but the reception area was difficult to find and access for those in wheelchairs. At a minimum there should be some directions provided to the bride and groom so they can let their guests know. There is also no access to the bar and the restrooms where quite some distance from the reception area. All in all a difficult stay for us.

golf was great not crowded and good weather. staff was helpful. One nights late meal could have been better. Old recooked fries. Other than that food and staff were very friendly.

Attended an annual golf outing over the weekend with 23 in our party. Stayed in one of the villas. Multiple people from our group reported ants in parts of their villa. Bathroom especially; floor and on the sink top all over my bathroom essentials. Dead bugs all around the sliding door; just not clean. Was given a check list of things to do before leaving, if not completed, we’d be charged an extra $50. I get making it easier for your workers and all but then I’d expect the rooms to be clean and bug-less at least. Older guy in the pro shop was not people friendly at all. Needs to get off his high-horse and learn to be accommodating. When we pay for “unlimited golf,” don’t tell us ‘there’s 64 others in front of you so I’ll see you in 2 hrs.’ But when the conversation continues, we can tee off blue right away? New owners need to realize what they’re going to lose. Hearing how poor the staff is treated along with dirty rooms, MULTIPLE people not even in our group talking about how poor things have gotten, and then wanting to increase drink prices; what a joke. A shame to see such a great place go downhill so fast simply from ownership. I hope the staff can get out and find something better; they truly are the only reason I’d return. (Can’t wait for the auto response of ‘we’ll use this to better accommodate those in the future.’ Sure you will.)

Has to be about the worst service we ever received. I really try to stay local and support business, However I think going to you local gas station would be better service and food. Took my wife for a nice Valentine's day dinner, sat at the bar for a significant amount of time, no problem , it's Valentine's understand it might be a wait... After I while, got seated, waited for someone to come over and serve us. After 25 minutes and not even one person came to at least acknowledge that we even exist??? I'm good , we left. Staff didn't even seem to care. What a joke. I've been living in this community for a while. I will NEVER be back. Please don't waist your time and money.. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!
