Outwater is a great resource for builders, remodelers & craftsmen & makers looking for fit & finish parts for most commercial & residential construction. No way the showrooms can cover the gigundous amount of items they carry, but it's a good snapshot & often reminds me of smaller finish tasks & supplies needed to put icing on the cake w a project. Highly recommend downloading their master catalog & discipline related sub catalogs from the website. You could stay up for days browsing & discovering answers for jobs you didn't know you needed ideas for.

Red Oak is in stock as of today White is about 2 weeks lead time . We could look at our stock and pick a red oak that is more on the" whiter side "
I personally would not use a sawzall , I would use a miter saw , its easier, faster, and you get a straight cut everytime.
