Office staff is incredibly kind, supportive and team-oriented. I’ve never experienced a time when I was not offered support or guidance when needed. Management is involved in ensuring the success of the company and the success of its employees and provide hands on support like no other place I’ve seen. It’s extraordinary to see our compassionate board members assisting and taking on projects side by side with their employees and not what you’ll experience with larger companies. Even during the toughest times with the pandemic I’ve always felt support from my teammates and management. Grateful for the experience.

Batsh*t, petty tyrant “leadership” with all the classic signs of imminent-but-somehow-never-occurring self-implosion: gaslighting, retaliation, guilt trips, cultish in- and out-crowd bullying. Super fun times. Except not. If you’re smart, you’ll Direct your Self as far away from this company as possible.

We used Self Direct for my mothers home care for over 3 years. The aides they sent to help us were wonderful. My mother never thought of them as workers but as family. They treated her the same way. There was never a time that we were afraid to leave my mother with one of their employees. The nursing staff was very responsive and attentive to my mother. The schedulers knew us so well that we considered them friends. I hope they read this review, so many times people only complain, never praise these essential workers that went above and beyond for my mother right up until the time she passed away I thank you for the entire Testa family. We would have been lost without you.
