I mail packages a few times a month and everyone at the post office is super friendly and helpful. I never had a bad experience. PS my mailman is super nice too.

If I could rate USPS zero stars I would. I ordered a pretty spendy package and it was “delivered” yesterday, well actually it wasn’t delivered at all and is now lost somewhere only god knows, heard through the grape vine it was a new delivery guy yesterday. New guy, where’s my package at? USPS, WHERE’S MY PACKAGE AT?!!!

The staff are extremely friendly, but the internal efficiency is terrible. "Driveway is obstructed" is a term you'll hear a lot from them, I don't know if they just have lazy drivers or not enough of them, but do NOT use USPS in Rapid City. I had checked the camera running near the road of my house where they are supposed to drop it off and no one drove by, yet "Driveway is obstructed" was repeated for three days. FedEx and UPS have no problems compared to these guys.

Driver sometimes doesn't feel like delivering, i got a notice that my driveway and or door were blocked. Ive been home all day, this is not at all true. Such lazy drivers always giving people issues, just quit if you don't wanna do your job

Get the tracking number and bring it to the post office. When the carrier delivers package it has a GPS pin point location when its scanned and they can see if it was delivered to the right address. Ask for a carrier supervisor when you come in, post office will be open saturday from 830 to 1230

Call and speak to a representative at the post office. Or you can go online and cancel it as well I believe. I am a city carrier in rapid City, sd.
Sometimes they may miss the scan, still on its way, keep checking tracking number.

Yes the united states postal service delivers packages and letters on saturday, and the retail window is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Fill out a change of address online as USPS.com or get a card from the post office. Post a note of the new address on the old box in the box door. Won't work for FedEx or UPS.
priority express is offered which normally gets there the next day by 3 btw.... You should be able to pick it up aslas long as you have the tracking number
