I'm always disappointed because of the limited variety of produce. Some don't bother to clean excess soil, and the dill every year is past it's prime. Don't bother asking any questions they really don't know. Don't allow them to choose and bag any individual pieces of veg because they will always put in at least one inedible item. Don't buy pre husked corn because the abundant flies get it before you will. The snack area offers burgers and such. The eating area is feet away from the dusty dirt parking lot NEXT TO THE BATHROOM DOORS. Table and chairs are not cleaned routinely. I don't want to know anything about the bathroom. I go there because it's the only one I can get to.

Small farmers market but the few vendors they have are great. Organic veggies and meats as well as mushrooms! Street parking is easy. Get there early as things can sell out quickly.

This is a small market, but it runs year round and is on Saturday (10 to 2). In the summer it is behind the bank on Willow St., and in the winter it is in the United Neighborhood center on Cedar Ave. There are vegetables, meat and baked goods and the products are always fresh.

Each vendor has their own website and policy. Some take payments in advance, some just orders. If you do purchase in advance, you place an order on that website as you would any online purchase. Then, on the day of the market, you go to that vendor, wait in line, and pick up your order.
You will need the proper licenses if selling food. You can call the scranton licensing office at the town hall building and they will get you squared away!
