Stopped in Shoshoni on a cross country bicycle tour looking for accommodations for the night. When I pulled up to the motel there was a For Sale and No Vacancy sign out front, but only 2 cars in the parking lot. The office door was locked but I rang the bell and a woman opened the door. She was very pleasant and friendly and when I inquired about a room she said one was available. I was skeptical of what the condition would be but having no other option I took it. Turned out that despite needing serious updating, it was comfortable, clean, had a microwave, fridge AC, and WiFi. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Don't stay in this town it was the worst place me and wife stayed at. The cops the most corrupt cops I ever met. We had to sleep with one eye open omg. I'd rather stay in the projects in Chicago I believe we would have been safer. The town was the worst place on earth. Oh if you're a veteran stay away from this town my is retired veteran she was treated even worse for serving her country.

They use to have a great restaurant there for years I would stop on my way to the VA in Riverton. Or other things going on. Seems clean lots of cars there some truck drivers. Which as a Retired truck driver. If a lot of trucks are parked at a place it's got to be a good place to stay or stop.

Very old motel. Room 113 carpet and windowsills dirty. No amenities...including soap, ice machine, etc. No extra toilet paper or tissues. Did have microwave and fridge (needed defrosting). Bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom clean but water was rusty when we turned it on in the bathtub. It did clear up. Manager was not there when we checked in. Left room open with key inside. TV and A/C were good. If we hadn't stayed there before, we probably wouldn't have this time and doubt we will again.
