Long overdue review here! If I could give 10 stars I would. Backstory: last October my husband and I experienced our first miscarriage with our 1st babe. We had previously been going to a Catholic Church for several years, but I was losing the connection, and frankly wasn’t getting anything out of it for that matter. Did I truly believe? Was I just attending Catholic Church because that’s how it was suppose to be? Two of our friends had previously started going to this church and highly recommended it to us for months. It wasn’t until the 1st weekend in October when I knew our pregnancy was taking a turn that I needed to try this place out. What harm could it be? Guys, when I say the experience I felt from this place was just an overwhelming warm, good feeling - I don’t lie! I’ve never once shed a tear at the Catholic Church. Perhaps that’s from not feeling connected as I should and growing up in a Catholic prominent life. Going through my emotions for that weekend and attending Capital City unknown feeling for our baby’s future, capital city moved me during their whole hour Sunday morning at 10:00. I cried real tears from the preaching Frank had given and for once in my faith, I felt like I connected to a church, to a belief that Jesus is real, he DOES love us, and that we are all human. The music alone was phenomenal, Josh is normally the main singer who does a fantastic job at getting us all in the vibe for the songs. The other singers are just as great! Ever since October, my husband and I have loved coming to the church and actually look forward to going on Sundays. It never feels like we “have to, but a “want” to feeling because we look toward to Franks preaching and the kind of practice we can incorporate into our week ahead - how to become better than we were before and how to grow deeper in our faith. We haven’t joined the church yet, but we know we will make that decision soon. This place definitely has us recommending it to our friends/family and we are so grateful two of our friends never stopped telling us about this church as I never imagined I’d actually “love” a church like we do now.
