We love swimming here, but we came today because it says their open on line and they are not! Next time update the hours so the kids don’t get their hopes up!

Just went by, 230pm Sunday, posted hours say open but pool is NOT open. No hours posted. When is it actually open and why aren't the hours posted? And hours on here are incorrect.

There's a TON of stairs for both slides which means they are big, but it takes a lot to get to the top, especially for younger kids or older adults. I'm only 37 but have Lupus and arthritis and couldn't even attempt to climb all those stairs. The lazy river is cool but pool floats aren't allowed which is a bummer. There's also not much of a shallow area (around 3-4ft), apart from the lazy river. It's literally either 2ft or 5ft and up deep in most of the pool. Also, despite the fact that one of the slides ends in a 5ft deep area, you aren't allowed to catch little kids at the bottom even though the area where the slide ends isn't even roped off, which also dangerous because people can get plowed over by people coming down the slide if they're standing/walking by too close. There's a lot of breaks and they're too short to even get anything from the concession stand so it's pointless, as soon as you're dry the break is over. The concession stand prices are OUTRAGEOUS though they do have a good selection. Lastly, it's $4.50 per person to get in, even on Tuesday and Friday nights when they're only open 2 hours!

Eh...it's a small pool with upgrades to make you feel like you're taking part in something special, music is lacking, the 'lazy river' truly is lazy (no floats or inner tubes supplied), continues to be a chlorinated pool (why they didn't switch to a salt water pool is beyond me...easier on swim suits and your eyes), ridiculous concession prices, a pool simply for kids. Want a great place to go? Give the Salina water park a try, family and adult friendly... you'll leave feeling like you've spent the day at the pool...a lot of bang for your buck!!!
