I been a resident of Farmington Place Apts since 2016. The apartment staff and residents make you feel welcomed, Like your a part of their family. The apartment complex offers 1 & 2 bedrooms. Accepts Credit Card Payments or online, every apt has a balcony. Cable/Internet Ready (optional) Free WiFi in the community room 24/7. All Utilities are included in rent except cable/phone/internet. Emergency Maintence, Laundry room on the 2nd floor across from the elevators. Community Library, Controlled building access, Two Emergency Pull-cords in every apt. Monitored by security service, Yoga class and Bingo once a week Community Room, Smart Bus Flex pulls up to the front entrance (Handicapped Accessible), Downtown Farmington right across the street offering lots of events including free concerts, festivals, dancing, ice skating and more year round. Lots of stores, restaurants and Farmington Civic theatre nearby Beaumont family clinic next store. Dogs/Cats allowed,, Free on site parking, Smoke-free throughout apartment complex. Full Bath with Tub (Hot Tub Jacuzzi and Swimming pool not included) Shiawassee Park behind us. Gas Grills in picnic area. Smoke & CO2 Detectors and smoke alarm drills maintained by management Fully Equipped Kitchen. 2 Walk-In Closet, 1 pantry/towel closet, 1 coat closet. (2 walk-in closets in 2 bedroom). Large screen tv and Vending Snack Machine (chip/pop) in community room . Apt holiday party in December. Apartment is a Section 8 Housing which means you only pay 30% towards rent and the government pays the remainder providing you qualify They have in-house vouchers meaning you apply on their long waiting list (3 years for seniors and 5-9 years for Disabled). if you leave the apartment for whatever reason, you cannot take that voucher with you and you'll have to start all over again.
